Do You Have Phobias?

Featured Replies

Guess you're not afraid of Scut Farcus anymore, since Ralphie kicked his butt.

That's right. I kicked Ralphie's butt at the beginning of the movie & then he kicked Scut's butt. Therefore, Randy>Scut.

Grover is a different story.

I am not sure that I have phobias but there are two things that make me very uncomfortable.

1) Clowns freak me out, I can barely stay in the same room with one and won't look at them at parades or a circus. My work colleagues insert clown slides in my presentations or theirs. They roll on the floor, I do not find it humorous. Which probably leads them to continue this juvenile behavior.

2) I am afraid when getting on or off an elevator or walking in a parking lot that I will drop my keys down the shaft or in a water drain grate. Even if they are in my pocket.

Lots, and the bolded above is one of the chief among them on a list including heights, crowds and confined spaces. I'm also a bit creeped out by MaryKay ladies donning excessive makeup enhancements.

I hate lipstick on women... Always have... Lip gloss I can do, not lipstick. Gross.

This is very funny. :lol2:

Not so much confined spaces, but being in really large groups of

people within a smaller structure. I hate that and it makes ADHD go

off the wall.

Not a fan of spiders either.

Same! Keys especially, but also cell phones.

I have that same fear with walking across bridges.

I wondered how long it would take for this sophomoric behavior. Real creativity would have PM'd me

Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia - Fear of long words

A fear of clowns is coulrophobia.

Not sure if it's a fear or not but I can't stand to even look at coconut...not the big brown nut but the nut guts, the white part.

I have a phobia of phobias.

Yeah, but then the rest of us couldn't have seen this if he pm'd you. Pretty darn funny...but that's my kind of humor too.
