November 26, 201312 yr Heights...Have had numerous panic attacks as a result, although it has subsided quite a bit since the fiancé talked me into parasailing last year. Insects. Any kind. Not afraid of snakes, spiders, or anything like that, but insects (flies, ants, roaches, etc.) all creep me the hell out.

November 26, 201312 yr I was out on our street walking about a year ago & during one of my laps, a tiny baby snake crossed my path. Startled me, but it was a baby--so small it looked more like an earthworm. On my return lap, Momma Snake was waiting at the same spot where the baby had crossed in front of me. I went to the other side of the road & as I walked past, she struck at me even though I was a good 10-15 feet away. Suffice it to say, the walk became a sprint. I've had two terrible snake encounters. A few years ago I was playing a round of golf. Hit my tee shot just outside of the fairway, maybe 5 feet or so into the rough. As I made my way to my ball, I stepped on a black snake ( I could see it coming but it was too late, my size 15 was already on the way down when I noticed it). The demon struck at me and I killed it with a 9 iron. The second encounter is much worse. When I was in high school my room at my parents house was in the basement. I had a door in the room that led to a patio and our back yard. I was about to go to sleep, had all the lights in the room out, sitting around in boxers and a t shirt, no shoes or socks watching tv. I realized I had forgot something in my car so I walked out the door to our back yard, ran around front to our driveway and got what I needed, came back in, jumped in bed and went to sleep. The next morning I woke up and there was a dead snake half in and half out of the door leading outside. Its head was outside on the patio, tail end still in my room. I assume it was in my room and when I came back inside(shoe less) it tried to get out and I shut it in the door without knowing. That one physically made me sick.
November 26, 201312 yr Not really a phobia where I will freak out but I could do without heights. I also could live happy the rest of my life if I never had to fly again. I'll do it but could really live without it. White knuckled and sweaty the whole time.

November 26, 201312 yr I've been sitting and thinking about it for a good while....and I've gotta say, I can't think of anything that I have a legitimate "phobia" of.
