They played a "soft" schedule in '12 (HHS being the exception) and almost beat Trinity. It's hard to guage but Trinity arguably had one of the best teams the state has every witnessed in '12. What Male has done is impressive, beating Trinity and X twice would be a great accomplishment for a decade of play but I wouldn't sell McKee's team short. Male is the favorite but it's hard to handicap.

I have seen SC a couple of times and I believe they are the real deal...I saw something last yr when they came to Ft Thomas and absolutely dominated the Birds for 2 qtrs and then Weinrich made an adjustment.

 

I am in the minority but believe SC will win the 6A title this yr...

I hope Male fans will forgive me for picking Scott Co. on Friday. Picked them to win state title before playoffs started. Can't switch now.

2012 was not nearly as good as 2011. The Rocks were also minus James Quick as well. Scott County was good, but that did play a big factor.

Male wins this 35-18.

I am rooting for Male so McKee can't make banners calling himself public school champions this year.

This is probably best Scott County team Coach McKee has had. Male has great team speed and a size advantage over the Cardinals . This should be a great games with a lot of scoring. I would call it a toss up and whoever has ball last will determine their destiny

Male is clearly battle tested. You beat T & X twice in the same year that says something whether you like them or not.

Scott County is not close to being battle tested.

I see this game going much like the Simon Kenton vs Butler game where in the end Butler's speed and athleticism will be too much.

I know one thing: Scott County's DB's and safety's better be ready to make plays because Male will put speed on the edges and make you pay if you can't tackle in space.

I just don't see this one being in doubt very long...

Scott Co will play better than they did against Henry Clay. Male may be in for an emotional let down after the last two weeks. I will take Male in a close one.

Male should win the semi final game with too much speed, speed, and dash of SPEED :thumb:!

They also have some big boys on their roster several kids over 260 and 300. I noticed they have an 8th grader at 6'8 190 pounds plays QB.
