Scott county is exactly where they have been the last 3-4 years. And are prepared to make the jump to win it. I think Scott County is fully prepared and capable of winning state. They won't lose to the other side of the bracket, winning this will win the title.

 

After watching the HC game last night if Scott Co. puts 7-9 in the box, or not, Males speed will be too much for them to overcome. They took too many plays off and allowed for HC to stay close and could have easily lost. If they play like they did last night, Male wins.

 

If they shore up the defense and prevent the "big plays" they might be able to keep it close.

Hopefully Male can bring it home.

I understand why you say that. But Manual somehow was fast enough to hang with Male. And Scott county is a better team than Manual. I look forward to Friday Night and seeing the results. Male isn't any faster in the backfield than Henry Clay. With the states leading rusher and another top 10 back in the backfield.

I think Jim McKee has done a fantastic job building Scott County into a contender. This could be the year.

I think these capture the key element.

 

Scott County defense has not shut down anyone completely this season. Even in the first Henry Clay game HC had 3 scores halfway through the 2nd quarter. Its just just that Scott County outran them to hang 70 on them. Obviously HC improved its defense in-between games with Scott County.

 

The Scott County defense must at least 'contain' Male and give their offense a chance to win this. This could be high scoring event.

I have seen SC a couple of times and I believe they are the real deal...I saw something last yr when they came to Ft Thomas and absolutely dominated the Birds for 2 qtrs and then Weinrich made an adjustment.

 

I am in the minority but believe SC will win the 6A title this yr...
