Good grief! Round 2 is barely over and the poll goes up for this one?!?! I am teasing you but I did think it was funny. And, I don't blame you. We are excited about the big challenge of playing the Colonels. They are very good. I better get off of BGPREPS and get back to work!

Got a ton of stuff to do for BGP for basketball season this weekend so I needed to go ahead and get my football games from my area out and done with.

It's all good. I am excited to get another week of football! :thumb:

Good luck to both teams but I think the run ends this week for Mason. I do think the game will showcase two high octane offenses.

A MUCH improved Mason County team from a year ago. Balanced passing and running game. Much improved defense as well. Royals get the W.

Bourbon has been a juggernaut this season. Mason CAN win, but all of those time-tested football cliches have to hold true.

Win the turnover battle.

Keep Bourbon's offense on the sidelines by burning clock.

Be efficient on 3rd down.

Dominate all facets of special teams.

I hope Mason County wins this one. That is not a knock on Bourbon, who is a fine team, I just am a fan of the Royals and like to see them advance.

How is the offensive and defensive line play for both teams?

What is the word on Pope, will he play?

If Bourbon County is a juggernaut then Chiefsmoke knows how to handle a Juggernaut as he has in the past playing the Lloyd Juggernauts thru the years. Good luck to Mason County coaches, players and fans keep the undefeated season going. JD

Bourbon Co. 35-14.

I like Bourbon in this one by two TDs. I know they haven't been tested yet, but is that a bad thing or their fault? I still think they have to be considered for the 3A title.

I think this has the potential to be a very, very fun game

Right now it is hard to not go with Bourbon County based on how they have steamrolled everyone and beat Mason so soundly last year. With that said, there is no doubt the Royals are playing very good football right now and have closed the gap.

I picked BC in the poll but I just have a feeling that BC hasn't been tested enough and sometimes those close games and adversity can haunt a team not used to the atmosphere. Plus, Coach Buchanan is a class act and I'd like to see them advance as much for him as the players and BGP friends/fans.
