When I was married, both our commutes were less than 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the commute for my husband to meet his girlfriend was only 5 minutes. :lol:

 

Now, as a long time divorcee without any intention of remarrying, my 90-120 commute each way, each day, seems like an investment in my future "singlehood".

I don't see how that commute doesn't drive you insane. I would move to New Albany or something just to try to shorten that commute.

You get used to it and enjoy it sometimes, I just had that mine is due to traffic. If I was driving the whole time it would be more enjoyable.

Mine is currently 35-40 minutes. But seeing as I don't plan on getting married any time soon, I'm not too worried about it.

My commute in 29 years of employment was never more than 8 minutes.

 

Married 35 years last month.
