Does anybody find it difficult to vote for a player that has not been beyond the regional championships? Does it really matter? A special player might not have any other talent around him to carry his team far in the playoffs. Imagine if Drew Barker had Fant or even the receiving corp that Elijah Sindelar is throwing to at Caldwell County. Would that have made him a better player?

It is afterall a team game although many try to ignore that fact. I think if Barker had Cooper's Wr's for instance he would have probably thrown for close to 7,000 yards in his career with no problem and this year could of put up mind boggling numbers. II am not slighting Conner's WR's in any way, Their main guy outside Barrker was A Way who also like Cam Fogle last year played RB as well as WR. they did have some big time drops and makes you wonder you also need to understand his line was full of first time starters this year.

I agree I really do. They've all had special seasons.

Btw UK#1fan, why should making it to the finals mean anything if you lose that game? Shouldn't it be only if they win the state final game they should be Mr football? Whats the difference in losing in the state final game or losing in regionals? you still lost which means you weren't the best.

CHARLES WALKER-Final career results below. Shame he was dinged up for much of this year and missed 3 games- played sparingly in some blowouts. Best game I saw was putting 248 yards up on Moeller this year in 30 attempts in the driving rain with 10 in the box. 39 career TDs is pretty solid. He was MIA against MALE for the most part for reasons unknown.
