Very true, but Barkers performance in 2 of his last 3 games leaves a lot to be desired. Mr. Football is an individual / stat driven award.

Just because Barker was the preseason favorite doesn't mean squat! You have to go out and play the game and put up Kuntz like numbers! 12 and 0, tons of tds, great accuracy and 1 int!

Agreed. Just find it very hypocritical and asinine.

I think only people in Boone County think that! You need to step outside the box! Kuntz will win it after the Pioneers win 6A!!!

 

Few people around the state have even heard of Kuntz and one game wouldn't make a difference. As mentioned earlier it's about publicity as much as anything.
