October 16, 201312 yr I was at the "Music City Miracle". Place went absolutely NUTS when TN scored on the lateral to win the game. Only NFL game I have been to. Up until that play, it was the most boring sporting event I had ever been to. Also thought I was gonna die later on that night at the hands of an enraged "ex husband". Now there's a story! Man what a night.
October 16, 201312 yr Difficult. The Miracle on Main with Louisville coming back from 18 points down with 5 minutes to play against Marquette in 2011 is probably at the top; Preston Knowles played as close to perfect down the stretch as I've ever seen a player perform. Louisville's win over No. 1 Syracuse in the final game at Freedom Hall is right up there with it. I was at both of those as well... It was ROWDY. #3/6/10
October 16, 201312 yr I was at both of those as well... It was ROWDY. #3/6/10 Constant volume for three hours. Instead of running some promotion or showing a commercial, the TV timeouts were all nuts. Play would stop and they'd bring out somebody like LaBradford Smith and the crowd would go insane through the whole timeout. Then play would come back and we'd go nuts again. Then there would be another timeout and Rodney McCray would come out. The crowd energy just never had a chance to cool down... just found new levels of energy during the big moments.

I really miss Freedom Hall sometimes. Until I go back to the Yum. :lol2:
October 16, 201312 yr Been to many. Hard to pick one. Some of my favorites 1998 south regionals St. Petersburg. It was Ky. Vs Duke. Kentucky was down by 18 and came back to win it. The infamous Chris Weber time out. -I've been to 3 final fours. When the Reds swept the A's - loved the look on Dave Stewarts face. I went to 5 Reds games that year. Opening day, 2 playoffs and 2 world series. Game 7 Lakers over Celtics in LA-- surreal to see the streets lined with cops in riot gear after the game.
October 16, 201312 yr UC vs Pitt for the Big East Title and 12-0 regular season in 2009. Pike to Binns for the win and the large UC segment of the crowd went crazy. What a fantastic afternoon. Drive home felt like it took 20 minutes...

October 16, 201312 yr I'm going to take this in a slightly different direction. Mine is when Brian Brohm and Michael Bush faced off in the 2002 4A title game. That game was simply the most amazing football I have ever witnessed in person.

Really wish I'd gone home for the day.
October 16, 201312 yr Exams came early at UD. I was finishing up a term paper and preparing for exams that weekend during my freshman year. Really wish I'd gone home for the day. It would have been worth it. Oddly enough I remember running into Coach Beatty at Applebee 's later that night. I remember seeing him walk in with his family and my friends and I all yelled "Great game coach" when we saw him. I remember him giving us a look kike "Okay great, thanks. Can I just relax and have dinner now?"
October 16, 201312 yr OK...I forgot one from my previous post. 2011 - Holy Cross wins the 2A football championship over Glasgow in BG. I love my ring!
October 16, 201312 yr I also was at the Freezer Bowl and still have the moon boots that I had bought at Nobil shoes to wear to the game my feet never got cold . I have been to the Indy 500 6 times and the US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen four times . The bog was an interesting feature there .
