Surprised to McCracken Co up at #3, although they're talented enough to be there. I'd have them Top 10, but, no higher than 8th.

Hard to say, but some team is gonna have to come down to WKY and beat them, I think it will be tough, no matter WHO it is.

"The Litkenhous Ratings are perfect this week!"

- No one ever

I knew we weren't good but I didn't think we were this bad .

Dixe Heights ahead of Simon Kenton.

Muhlenberg County at 4-2 is ranked last.

I guess strength of schedule is a big part of the LIT rankings. I think margin of victory also carries weight in these rankings.

Just looked at their record. 3 schools they beat are HORRIBLE...the other, Crittenden Co, is a small 2A school that is struggling and is down in talent...and only beat them by 1, 13-12. I mean really, it's an embarrassing schedule for a 6A school.

Boone is ranked 28th?

Dixie plays a highly ranked 4A school in CovCath and Simon Kenton beats up two 2A programs with a combined record of 3-9. Easy to see why the computer would like them better. Luckily for the Pioneers, they get to settle that one on the field.

McCracken has lost to a 1A and a decent 3A team and they are the third best in 6A? Wow, either the Lit is WAY off or 6A is WAY down.

Pretty sure SK played state runner up in 4A also highly ranked! :D

It is a computer, it could care less Collins was runner-up last year. Collins' schedule isn't close to CovCath's, hence a lot more points for Dixie.

They've only been playing 6A football for a few years. They consolidated high schools a few years ago, this years 4 winsis probably more then they've won since the consolidation.

The Mustangs are much better than they were the first two games of the year. The first two games were in part about MCHS finding their way. Mayfield isn't just any 1A team. They can whip a majority of public school teams regardless of class. Mayfield won on a missed Mustang field goal. Tilghman won on a blown pass coverage play, scores called back on penalties, an amazing shuffle pass and two missed extra points. I give both PT and Mayfield credit but MCHS is two points from being undefeated. They creamed a 3A and a 5A program that were ranked in the top ten. They held Bullitt Central's fine RB in check as part of a shut out. Dyer Co. had some quality wins when they got blown away by the Mustangs. There's a bit more to McCracken than the brief description in your post.
