Just got confirmation that the Beechwood- CovCath JV game is on.

To be played at CovCath @ 10:00

 

Who will be the QB?

Ill play. Why is CovCath now suddenly able to play a JV game?

 

Couldnt do it against Moeller and now Highlands citing injuries and I guess numbers of players but now they will be healthy enough to take on the Beechies...

 

Are they healthy enough because CovCath does not see the Beechies as a threat or risk to the young Sophs and inexperienced Jrs? or is it because CovCath took two advil and feels better now?

I was told the Moeller game was cancelled because of a field conflict

Highlands was because CovCath is playing on Thursday.

Again up till last week CovCath had 2 healthy QB's a Freshman and Soph.

I am assuming that one or both freshman QB's will be playing on Saturday.

Wired how the biggest CCH vocal supporter next to TOG is asking same thing basically. Cool though. Did see where CCH Frosh crushed Conner tonight so all is good in PH with the S.I.T.S.

I did enjoy going back and reading all of the "no way you play a frosh at JV" comments.

 

Glad to see CCH isn't canceling the rest of the JV season.

I mean really- you people complain about the fact they didn't play Highlands in JV and probably shouldn't figure on playing them at their next scheduled date either- then when they come to a solution which allows the JV to play (and allows them to play Highlands on the 2nd date) you complain about that too.

 

If its CVH playing QB on Sat I'll stand corrected- I didn't think they would bring a Frosh in to play JV. Clearly if there were no injury situation to deal with at the Varsity level and if CVH were a lesser player then this wouldn't have happened.

 

Cole JUST got back to play in his first action last Wed. Between that and the short week, I think any reasonable human being could see why this particular game was canceled.

I can't speak for Clyde here but I got a sneaky suspicion that some of the hard core Blueboys is simply disappointed in those not upholding the creed...:thumb:

 

Man could you imagine Krumps telling a team he couldn't play a game because he didnt have his two starting pitchers available, his leadoff shortstop was out and the infield grass was too high...LOL

I found a thread from 2009 about Beechwood canceling the JV game with CCH. These made me chuckle after seeing the life of this thread.

 

Well, it is CovCath and Beechwood. Probably only would be more posts if CCH and Highlands JV were cancelled.

 

Shoot. That would have had 3 threads closed by now.

 

This has to be a BGP record of some sort.
