Choo's agent says 100 million might be too low

Featured Replies

Lets see Bench, Perez, Rose and Morgan yes they might have been worth that much, as they are all HOF type players!

Choo? The only way he gets into the HOF, is to buy a ticket!

He might get 100 million but it won't be for 5 years

That's even more crazy... you think hes worth 30-35 a year in a small contract?

For him to get 100 million it better be for more than five years. More like 8-10 years.

The guy deserves a bump in salary but he's crazy to believe he's a 20 million dollar player. I could see 14 - 15 mil/year.

Don't know what he's worth, but are the Reds in the playoffs without him? I don't think they are at all, now how much is making the playoffs worth to a team that just missed out this season...like say the Yankees?

"Leading off for the Cincinnati Reds, your centerfielder, Billllllllllyyyyyyy Hamilton!"

Scott Boras is a grade A d-bag

Buh-bye Choo, hellop Hamilton.

Those 4 would be $200M players.

Mentioning the BRM of 75-76...what would that team cost per season in today's game? What would just the Great 8 make per season if they were on a team in their prime today?

Boras is, but he could negotiate for me. Can't afford Choo, even at 14-15M. I hope Hamilton is ready, not certain he is yet. We probably will find out.

Cincy could not have afforded them all, even if they sold out every game. I would have been interesting to see how they would have prioritized. I say , Bench, Morgan, Rose, Perez.

I don't think even the Yankees could afford that team.

Robinson Cano is asking for $305 million over 10 years lol.

If he thinks he can get that then the Big Red Machine would be the first billion dollar ball club over a 10 year time frame.

What is Choo’s best position?

I know it is not centerfield. He gets a very poor jump on the ball, does not have great speed, and as poor an arm as there is in centerfield in Major League Baseball.

I don’t know what he will get on the open market, but won’t be worth the escalated number.

I think with Ludwick having a year left and everyone cheering for Hamilton in Center next year, that if that is the way things happen, you all might be singing a different tune come next year. Just my honest opinion.
