How is Hamilton's arm strength from the OF? If I remember correctly, he has a + arm from SS, correct?

Most of you are too young to remember when Pete Rose declared he would be the first "$100,000 singles hitter" and everyone said there is no way any team will pay $100,000 to a singles hitter.

Yes, his arm is decent.

If the Reds fork that much money for him they are STUPID. Choo is what he is and that is average at best.

Your kidding me right??? Guys hitting .280 something with 21 bombs and has been tops in the league in obp for the entire season. What's a lead off hitters job again? Reds fans complained for years about Stubbs, makes no sense to me why anyone on here would complain about the job Choo has done this year. He will never get that money from the reds and maybe that is stupid. But any comment saying Choo has been so so this year is.... STUPID! Reds aren't in the playoffs without him.

I love Choo but there is no way anyone thought this would be auto year thing for

Choo and the Reds

By the end of May we already knew we couldn't afford him next year.

I never said that the Reds need to give him 100 million. In fact I said he will never get that money from them. My issue is that people are on here saying Choo is average and bring on Hamilton.

I didn't read it that way. I read it as we loved what Choo has done this year. Thank you. Now it's Hamiltons time.

You didn't read it that way? The quote I responded to literally said "Choo is average at best"

Hunter Pence got 90 million for 5 years. So Choo should not top that.

Too much for him as well

Huh? He's got one of the best arms in the game. His best position is RF.

I have read sources like the BleacherReport and how they marvel over Choo’s arm strength.

I am going by what I have seen from watching most of the Reds’ game this year. He gets a very poor jump on fly balls in centerfield, he is not particularly fast, and his arm is very unimpressive to me.

I have been runners tag from third on Choo and him catch the fly in shallow centerfield and yet, barely get his throw to home plate past the pitcher’s mound.

I scratch me head at the Bleacher Report because I have seen Choo’s poor centerfield play firsthand.
