I knew exactly what you were doing, Mr. Smarty Britches.

:D

But truthfully, I think UK's defense has played pretty well and Florida's offense is awful. Like the mediocre Cats team that finally beat Tennessee, the time for this to happen might just be now.

The question, as always, is whether Kentucky can find a way into the end zone through a stout Gator defense.

Scoring is certainly an issue, but for me, the Cats cannot turn the ball over. Kentucky has a legitimate shot at upsetting UL if they don't have costly turnovers. If there is a repeat performance in that area, Florida will come away with a similar margin of victory.

If UK were to win I am not seeing it as a scenario they outscore FL in the 30s or putting up points as some are predicting. It will be a 13-12 type game.

I don't know why, but I get a weird feeling about this year's game. Probably one of the better chances we've had to beat them in some time, which is ironic considering that the talent level on this year's team on the whole is down.

Would love to see this streak end and see Stoops have a big win to hang his hat on, but I'm not holding my breath.

Same here^^^

It seems like UK is walking into a perfect scenario to end the streak. Florida hasn't looked impressive at all this year, and with their injuries mounting by the day, literally, it sets up for a UK upset.

I think the Cats finally get it done this year.

Truthfully, beating Florida isn't that hard. Don't know what's been taking so long for UK to get over the hump. I mean, who hasn't beaten Florida lately?

Intelligent humor never gets old. Well played.....

Reading this thread amazes me, but I love the optimism. I don't feel it, I think this is 60 minutes of One Way traffic.

It's sure a nice change of pace after the last few years

I think the Cats finally get it done this year.

I see what you did there.

I just don't see any scenario where UK wins. They will be lucky to score 10. Florida covers the 14 point spread.

Don't know if it's been posted but Florida DT, Easley, is out for the year. Expected to be a 1st round pick next year.

God love the people picking UK to win or be close. I said it before and see no reason to waver, but I no longer believe I'll see UK beat Florida. EVER.

I think Driskell getting hurt actually helps them. He's an awful QB.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying I think Kentucky will beat Florida. In fact, just the opposite. Florida is favored, and with good reason. I just think this is the weakest Florida has been in some time, and the game is being played in Lexington. Unfortunately for us, this is one of the more "down" UK teams as well.

I just don't see UK scoring enough points to win. They'd need special teams and defensive touchdowns to get the win, IMO. Those are possible, but you have never bank on them.
