All I can say is wow!!!

 

Come on RB.....You are having a bad week with Highlands Football. Either you are on the Wagon or your not....lol!!! You can't beat teams by 50 every game....Game in my opinion was never in doubt. Won't name any names but one kid in paticular(SP) won't be playing at Alabama next year. Maybe UK but that's about it. Not impressed at all. He should of dominated our lineman on every play but that wasn't the case. John Hardin has a very nice team but they were as good as their coach tonight.

Good thing Simon Kenton and Bowling Green don't play Highlands this year!

A team is a direct reflection of their coaching staff. Too bad because their effort tonight was overshadowed by some questionable play and coaching. Birds won and on to next week.

Overshadowed maybe to you, but not to me. Or are you talking about the block from hell that took your player out of the game. It was a legal block, despite the rantings from all the Highlands fans. The taunting afterwords was completely uncalled for and I don't think he returned to the game after that. It seemed the mighty Highlands lost their composure after that and they were the ones landing cheap shots on the John Hardin players. To each is his own I guess.

Most of the true HHS fans were aware he was going for#300. I think those of us who didn't see the game are a little stunned by the final score and are awaiting reports from those who were there to see if this was a flat, uninspired performance or if John Hardin exposed some weakness to be worked on. I admit that the results of the last six seasons have me spoiled and that these games are played by 15-17 year old young men and we can't expect 100% execution of assigment all the time--only 100% effort which I'm sure did happen. So I'm waiting for the report from those who saw the game but even if something is broken Dale and staff will fix it.

Top ten? Not in my opinion. He has a ton of potential though. People don't realize he hardly played as a Freshman and really didn't take football seriously until maybe 2 years ago. He is probably 30 pounds heavier than he should be, and that affects his stamina and effort sometimes. I think once some of these college coaches get hold of him you will see a completely different person than in high school.

The KHSAA tally has him at 237 going into 2013. Where did Mueller coach before he took over at Highlands? Can anyone give us a breakdown on his coaching record (how many wins at which schools) that make up the 300?

Don't think so, Highlands offense had no trouble containing him. I was disappointed by his sportsmanship, especially when Highlands took a knee to end the game.

He coached at Sycamore (Oh) and Withrow (Oh)..Don't know the records at those 2 schools..

That was an absolute legal block and that player timed it perfectly. There wasn't one HHS fan complaining about the block. It was his antics afterwards that had everybody bitching and I my friend was one of them. And yes it led to a lot of chippy play after that. Oh btw who blew through the line on the QB kneel down on last play of game. Game was over. Time to concede and accept your loss and learn from it. Not you but players. Funny how you are getting defensive and calling HHS mighty. Lol!

So the 237 wins (in 19 years) listed on KHSAA have all been earned at Highlands? That's not too shabby, a testament to the program. Every kid that has ever wore the blue and white for HHS shares in this accomplishment, with blood and sweat and tears. Congrats again.
