My friends and I are having a debate as to which restaurant makes the best sub sandwiches.

Of the restaurants listed, which one is your favorite?

Jersey Mike's hands down.

Of the one's listed I like Jimmy Johns

Without question, Jimmy John's. Nowhere else is even close.

Quizno's and Subway are disgusting.

Out of the options it is easily Jimmy John's. Still sad that not only did I move my home AND office outside of the delivery area, but there isn't one w/in an hour drive.

The correct answer is whoever has a good Cubano or Bahn Mi. :D

For a cold sub, it's Jersey Mike's. There isn't any other place that even comes close.

In a distant second, it used to be Sub Station, but the last time I ate there, it was nasty. It tasted like the meat had sat on the counter all day. I was leery when I ordered and the meat was sitting on the counter on a cookie sheet that was sitting on an ice covered cookie sheet. 1 bite, and I threw it out. Therefore, it would probably be Subway. The number of toppings puts them on top of Jimmy Johns. Jimmy Johns is good, but the amount of lettuce they put on the sandwich is ridiculous. It's almost like a chef salad on a chewy roll. I've only had Firehouse Subs once, and I wasn't impressed.

For a hot sub, Penn Station followed by Quiznos.

Concur on Jersey Mike's.

Of those listed, Penn Station hot and Jimmy John's cold.

Subway and Quizno's are nasty. Firehouse waaaay over-rated.

Penn Station. Love the bread they use and their fries are great as well.

Of the choices listed I voted Penn Station.

Judging from the responses in this thread, I need to try Jimmy Johns.

I've never heard of it, is it a chain, a NKY regional thing, what?

JJ is a national chain. They're in Morehead, Richmond, and Somerset.

My fave is Quizno's then JJ.

JJ is really good (better than Subway and Quiznos by a mile), I like Firehouse too...IMO Penn Station is the best of the ones listed.

Thanks Clyde!!

I like Quiznos too, but haven't had one in a long time.

Penn Station

jimmy johns

Quiznos

Firehouse

subway.

Penn station is my fav. because of the heated sub

Love the speed of Jimmy johns

Just not many quiznos around or it might move up the list

Only had firehouse once, but liked it.

I used to eat at Subway an awful lot, but lately I get very frustrated when I have a hard time placing my order.
