August 7, 201313 yr Confused? I couldn't think of a good title, worse yet, I don't know where this belongs. W/ the 700th Saurback to go through Campbell Co. and start at MLB for the Camels, I started to think of big families at schools where the brothers/cousins all played the same position. At NewCath, when you think of basketball, the first family that comes to mind is a Pangallo playing PG. Rocky, Jimmy, Nicky, Steve, Chris, Vince Bonhaus, Grant, Zack, and after him Steve. That's about 30 years of on and off Pangallos playing the point. At Simon Kenton, you have the Cooper Brothers in wrestling at around 160 ish. Who are some other families that played the same, or similar, positions.
August 7, 201313 yr I would have to say having an Abner playing football at Highlands even though the positions they play/played varies.

August 7, 201313 yr How many kids with the last name of Olinger have played QB at Hazard? Either 10 really good ones or one who never ever graduates!
August 8, 201313 yr I would have to say having an Abner playing football at Highlands even though the positions they play/played varies. Too many Abners to keep track of. A Highlands household name for sure. :thumb:
August 8, 201313 yr "Groneck" playing most any position for most any team at most any high school in Northern Kentucky.
August 8, 201313 yr Cecil, and Bardo at Highlands not sure if they are a family or if the birds designate 1 player each year to go by Cecil and 1 to go by Bardo.
