August 7, 201313 yr Where is Jesse and Al???? Where is CNN's outrage when you need it. Congressman Charlie Rangel said not to worry about it, it was just some cracker. (Before anyone gets upset, I was just making fun of how lightly the media and society are of Rangel calling Tea Partists crackers.)
August 7, 201313 yr Obama said if he had a son he would look like that kid, could be true since Obama is white 3 kids to beat up one, what is up with that and especially the one with baggy pants showing orange underwear, he needs beat with a belt and then forced to wear the belt.
August 7, 201313 yr I'm still amazed that one of the issues is the bus driver. I hope they take those 3 kids off the streets for a considerable amount of time.
August 7, 201313 yr Not a race issue unless the kids say it was, I think just punks beating up,a kid for something. Still they are cowards for ganging up on him.
August 7, 201313 yr Author So now race is an issue???? Couldn't resist. I know your joking, but if this was the other way around...I wonder how it would be received in the media?
August 7, 201313 yr Author Bus driver still catching heat on the news tonight, :ohbrother: I don't think there was much else he could have done. Even if he struck them, they are 15 and he would be in trouble for striking a 15 year old "Kid".
August 7, 201313 yr These kids need to be charged as adults, they need to learn now or build their record down the road at someone's possible death.
August 7, 201313 yr I don't know this bus driver but he's not some 70 year old guy who shouldn't be on the road. At 70 I would have at least screamed and tried to step in if I can move, work and are coherent like he is. I don't think this guy is incapable of defending himself. It's his decision though.

Do you really think he'd have been able to do anything? They'd have whipped him too.
August 7, 201313 yr I know your joking, but if this was the other way around...I wonder how it would be received in the media? Hopefully the same. I always wonder how these stories get publicity anyways. I'm sure there are tons of kids getting beat up on video that aren't being publicized.
August 7, 201313 yr These kids need to be charged as adults, they need to learn now or build their record down the road at someone's possible death. That's my fear. To act like this at 15 if they put them in Juvenile Detention they are let go by age 21 and after being a part of the system for that long they'll likely do something worse once free.

I read one article that quoted a school official as saying that the bus driver did exactly what he was trained to do. Stop the bus & call the police. I'll see if I can find it. I feel fairly certain the school does not want them trying to break up fights. Imagine the law suit if he tried to and ended up hurting one of the kids. The bus driver gets zero blame in this.
August 7, 201313 yr Some of you might be spry 60+ years olds but taking on three 15 year olds that are violent isn't smart. Add in the closed quarters of the matter and it really isn't a good idea unless you're pretty smart and trained.
August 7, 201313 yr Maybe not a healthy thing for the bus driver, but maybe he could have simply put himself without fighting between these kids and the victim (sort of a shield). That would be asking a lot since he would have probably taken the beating himself.
