Terrence Jones Arrested for Stomping on Homeless Man

Featured Replies

Strange, why would you do something like this?

My guess is alcohol. Who knows, if he was about to try and drive home, this may be a blessing in disguise.

Along with former University of Kentucky forward and current Houston Rocket the article should also include Portland native.

PORTLAND – Former University of Kentucky forward and current Houston Rocket, 21-year-old Terrence Jones, was arrested early Wednesday in Old Town Portland after he was seen stomping on a sleeping homeless man’s leg, police said.

I'm guessing he was drunk and acting like an idiot...no excuse though.

It's not an act.

I don't know the whole story but I've been drunk many more times than TJ and not once have I stomped another person. Being a fan of TJ I can only hope it was merited.

I hope he didn't do that stupid stare down after he kicked him.

According to the article, the man was homeless and asleep. Is there a scenario where kicking a sleeping homeless man could be considered merited?

Would have meant more if he didn't lie about it at first. This is because no one believed he didn't do it.

The above facebook post has been deleted. I have been told by a source that the facebook page was hacked and was not posted by Terrence Jones.

Terrence Jones is standing by his not guilty plea and his lawyer has stated that the alleged incident has been misconstrued.

The Jones camp says his Facebook was hacked and he didn't issue an apology because he's innocent. I'll just say smh.

If that is the case hopefully they have proof it was hacked or that could be used as an admission of guilt.

I'll say this...I have no idea if Jones is innocent or guilty. That being said, IF one is guilty, it is FAR better to admit that you made a very stupid mistake, deliver a meaningful apology and move forward.

The guy probably drove by and scored on him in a pick up game earlier in the day and TJ was just trying to insure it didn't happen again.

What a freaking DB (if he did it). I had stupid thoughts go through my head when I was 21 and drinking/drunk (if this was the case)...kicking a sleeping homeless guy? Maybe 320 trillionth on my list, just behind tightening my nads in a vice and just in front of jumping off the Sears Tower with a used diaper as a parachute.

I wonder if Jones issued the apology and his attorney's directed him to remove it and the "hacking" is a cover?
