Charlie will bring in whatever he can to secure wins and improve his resume.

Says the guy whose coach harbors racists and murderers. :lol2:

Dyer chose Louisville weeks ago. Strong has really weighed this decision.

Congrats your on his level now. Your coach also has a Florida state of mind, that's why he's pumping the resume to bounce.

How many Louisville players have been in trouble since Strong has been here?

He voluntarily wanted to come to UL and he was never sought out for his services? I assume if he "chose" he was asked to first come.

I have no issue at all with giving Dyer or whomever another shot as long as they keep their noses clean.

The challenge I see for Charlie is his "NO GUNS" stance. So it applies to players IN the program who will be kicked off the team if they possess a gun but NOT to a player who illegally possessed a gun prior to being at UL. That's a tough sell IMO.

This pickup is great for Louisville as long as they have a majority of character guys. Haven't had much trouble since Strong has been there but you never know. As long as this move is acknowledged as clearly about winning football games first its okay. Sure Dyer gets a second chance but this is about the winning column. And that's fine, tons of guys did it. Just can't have too many bad characters. It helped Auburn win a title but also destroyed their program.

My understanding is that is the case. Strong's reputation in Arkansas probably had a lot to do with it.

How is the guy who dismissed the 2 players Hellbird called trash coaching career going.

Plain and simple morals without wins gets you fired, wins without morals gets you promoted or a bigger contract.

What about wins and morals?

"I was looking for something other than a great football program. I wanted a support system that would continue help me develop socially, emotionally and spiritually. Most people know that I can play football and I know that I am very capable academically. But this decision is about more than just football. It is about me as a person."

It's sad but I've heard in the past "good kids get you beat", which was meant as if you can get talent you take it and try to make it work. It's a sad world but when wins are the only thing that matters what can we expect?

Coaches that are great guys and teach kids the right way to live get fired if they can't produce wins. There has to be a balance at some point.
