January 31, 201412 yr Author Maybe it's because he reminds me, appearance wise, of a young John Shea (who played Luthor in the Lois and Clark TV show of the 90s), but it seems perfect IMO. Eisenberg does a great job playing intelligent and quick witted characters, and he can DEFINITELY do antagonistic if he wants to: http://www.hulu.com/watch/583590 I think those are all pretty solid traits of Lex Luthor. You guys might be right & I hope you are, because I want this movie to be good. I just have my reservations about him pulling off a villain of this magnitude. Having said that, I thought the same thing about Heath Ledger.

April 19, 201511 yr I hope this movie is 2 1/2 hours long...I don't want them to scrimp on anything. This will either be one of the greatest Super Hero Movies ever or a colossal let down. If it works at all it will be great.

April 19, 201511 yr If Jesse Eisenberg is anything short of awesome for Lex Luthor I'll be shocked. He's one of my top 5 favorite actors and I think he is perfect for the role and will be amazing. I could see him stealing the show. Ben Affleck as Batman is more troubling than Jesse as Lex. I still don't know who the dude is playing Superman. :lol2:

April 20, 201511 yr Check this info on Wikipedia LINK. It is about a comic mini-series from the late '80s that MAY have been part of the source material for this movie. The mask that Aflack is wearing (with the glowing eyes) in the trailer looks very much like the armored suit that Batman wore to battle Superman with in that series. Also rumors of who may be playing Robin are tied into this mini-series.
April 24, 201511 yr Ben Affleck as Batman completely ruins this movie for me. Don't be a hater, I think he will surprise us. I initially felt the same way about him and even Heath Ledger as Joker...we know how that turned out. Affleck was really good in Argo and has been good in some other movies. Remember Tom Hanks was in Joe versus the Volcano, who would have thought he would have been great after that clunker.
