Batman/Superman movie

Featured Replies

Rumor is, Brian Cranston has been given the nod to play Lex Luthor in Batman vs. Superman.

I think he'd do fine but I'd love to have a Superman villain that wasn't Luthor or Zod...

A man in Ludlow, KY started a petition to get Ben Affleck un-cast from the movie. Already has 50,000+ supporters.

Really? That dude needs a life, it's just a movie that'll last about 2 hours and be out of theaters in 6-8 weeks in 2015. I'm not excited about his casting either but I also don't think it will be the end of the world. Can't compare Daredevil to how he may play Batman in that the whole DD character is kinda weak to begin with and the movie regardless of his performance was bad.

Larry David is in talks to play Mr. Mxyzptlk in the upcoming sequel.

To me this sounds like a disaster but I'll reserve any judgement until the movie is released.

Mr. Mxyzptlk

I don't know who that is? Care to shed some light?

In talks, or rumored? Larry David in a movie like this sounds like a pretty bogus rumor to me....

Batman vs. Superman: Everything we know so far

^ A link to everything we know about the new film. There are 7 main points that I'll list below, but there's info on each point within the link. Worth the read.

1. Batman vs. Superman will hit theaters in July 2015.

2. Most of the cast from Man of Steel will return.

3. The film will be inspired by Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.

4. Lex Luthor will probably be the villain.

5. Many, many other DC Comics characters are rumored for cameos.

6. There's a scene set at a football game between between rival colleges Gotham City & Metropolis.

7. The film is designated to set up a possible Justice League movie.

Cool

I've read on Facebook that Wonder Woman and Nightwing have been cast.

It's pretty great that they're putting these big franchises in the hands of people who have truly loved them for years. I enjoy that comic book and sci-fi franchises are in the hands of fanboys like Smith, Whedon and Abrams.

I to like that idea. I think studios have figured out that the fans would rather see a project treated with love by someone who truly knows the character and will respect it than someone who is there primarily for a paycheck. I am excited for this movie.

A little worried about this movie.

We have Batman, Superman, Robin, and Wonder Woman.
