Good, I'll try to hobble over...should be another good game between these two.

NewCath has a new head coach, although he has been on staff for years. They did loose a number of players at skill positions and a good number of lineman also. Ranking them 2nd may be too high at this point. History tells us they will be there at the end, but it may be a real struggle this year.

Caldwell Co. the best team BY FAR going into the season.

 

I would say NCC is too high at #2 for preseason. Post season possibly. But new QB, new RB, and coach change from play calling may lead to early struggles. Actually if NCC can stay close to an improved 6A Dixie and 5A runner-up Cooper in the first two games of the season it will say a lot about their chances.

Agree with the top of this but the bottom... Danville is a big unknown and Middlesboro will be pretty tough this year...

Two schools in this class I wonder about - Lexington Christian and Covington Holy Cross. Is there any chance either of these schools are back in the hunt in 2013?

They might be able to play with Dixie but should get blown out by Cooper. These teams are just too big. It will help them later, however, when it really counts.

I would like to see Walton Verona crack the top ten or fifteen this year.

It should be an interesting year for Walton. A great backfield returning with the Latimoores and Compton. If they get any production in the passing game they could be very dangerous. Not sure who the new D coordinator is, but they have been very sound defensively the last few years. Love what they've done with the schedule, and a week 10 matchup with Lex Christian should give them much needed preparation for the playoffs.

That's hilarious. Dixie should be much better than cooper. I feel better about NCC beating cooper than beating Dixie.

I'm sorry, IDE expect exactly what happened last season. Get blown out in the 2nd or 3rd round of the playoffs. I'm not sure they would beat Lloyd this year.

Never said blown out by Lloyd. As good as last years walton team was, they struggled with lloyd in the playoffs last year. Only team Lloyd would blow out would be holy cross. Been awhile since we heard anything from a HC fan, wonder why?

Walton by the second game transitioned to a new QB and would have won the second game going away but had some exchange problems that kept it close. THey never trailed in that game. As to the Holy Cross, I do wonder what they look like for this year.

mboro will be team that could surprise. Other then that i think u see your usual suspects.
