Walton by the second game transitioned to a new QB and would have won the second game going away but had some exchange problems that kept it close. THey never trailed in that game. As to the Holy Cross, I do wonder what they look like for this year.

 

Numbers down for Holy Cross. Could be putting a lot of young players on the field. Don't know any more at this point.

I put LCA in top 10 because they are always good. The people I talk to say they have a couple Kids coming in that is real Good and a couple that was in school that didn't play. Time will tell. JMO

A team that must ppl forget about is bardstown there young but the got speed like always and their QB is only a jr if he was taller everyone in the state would be talking about him. Glasgow has to be on the top ten as well them are a solid team all around and Danville is up in the air.

NewCath will take some bumps early in the year playing so many 6A and 5A schools, along with losing a lot from last years team. With no major injuries they could make another run at a title, but at the moment AA is 100% C.C to lose. Young and talented last year should be tough to beat this season.

You know, 100% is way to high. I think somerset should be the favorite. Caldwell lost two key players, the WR and on o-lineman that was one of the few kids that played both ways. 54, I think his number was. IMO, the rest of caldwells defense was very suspect. I know what they got coming back (Caldwell), but I think it's a three horse race, somerset, Caldwell and NCC. In that order.

I always said somerset was a talented team. I felt they were more talented than NCC last season. That game was lost in the pregame because of a few undisciplined players. The personal foul late in the game didnt help them either.

 

NCC was very banged up in the playoffs and if not for a 70 degree day in December, I honestly feel they beat Caldwell easily last year. I think if somerset had gotten past NCC, they handle Caldwell fairly easily as well.

I like most Somerset Fans, felt that the game between NCC and Somerset was a Championship Game. When Somerset got beat I felt NCC would win a State Championship. I pulled for NCC in that Game. Makes the East look good when they win a Championship. Good Luck to NCC and hope Somerset and NCC play in Semi-finals again.
