Jeff Griffith at Boone. Boone county needs to be put back on the map. It's been a while since they were a real contented with the rest of NKY. Looking foward to watch him. I'm a big fan of Boone Co.

 

Boone was 1-9 or something last year...I would argue that the pressure to win at Boone will come in about two-three years. It will take a bit to get used to something other than three yards and a cloud of dust.

Lewis at John Hardin has the state's top player for 2013 as well as a host of other top notch players. I would say that after 2012's heartbreaker of an end to the season, that there is some real pressure there.

With all the young talent coming up, I think Ryle under Warner. The fans will be restless if we don't make some distance in the playoffs.

Right, my mind omitted the new part when I read the title. I'd say Boone's new coach then.

Will Wolford, no question. The powers on Poplar Level are so sick of playing second fiddle that they were willing to push a legend out of the 31st story window. They will look pretty foolish if they don't win. Adding to the pressure is the perception that Coach Wolford, at the very least, opened the window for the pushers. Yeah, that's pressure.

Tony Lewis at Henderson isn't under any pressure. As long as they continue to have winning seasons and make decent playoff runs he's set. Anything additional is just icing on the cake.

Is there any more pressure packed situation than the expectation that you will beat Trinity in your first year...twice?

They certainly can. And every team that's anywhere near it has to have the expectation that they will. But they won't.

 

John Hardin has two acceptable losses, Highlands and Bowling Green. Losses to any other team means they have underachieved. I guess that's some pressure.

I would say Coach Wolford is under "pressure" to win, however, I would say that it is self influenced..! I do think it is really funny :lol2::lol2: that the Trinity posters viewed Glaser as the worst coach etc. when he was coaching and now refer to him as "legandary"..... Talk abput trying to create some spin.....!!! I just never saw ANY Trinity posters EVER refer to Coach Glazer as "legendary" when he was coaching.... :lol2::lol2::lol2:

 

I see alot of folks questioning the experience of Coach Wolford. He has some of the most experienced playing time in college and pro football. If other words, he has been around a lot of great coaches. I am a firm believer that coaches learn to coach from other succesful coaches..... I think the Tiger program will be just fine. Keep under estimating this bunch!!!! Lets see what happens.....

I would say most people feel BG is the odds on favorite to win 5A again this year. BG returns everyone I believe.

This is not a new coach, but I believe Coach Warner of Ryle could feel a lot of heat. If Ryle starts out slow and Boone starts lighting up the scoreboard with their new offense the discontent in Union could turn to open rebellion. Fear The Nation, do you concur??????

Mikey was a "legendary" coach because of longevity not ability. And there's a huge difference between being coached by great coaches and being a great coach yourself. BearDonTomWoodyBo Wolford has never coached a down of varsity football. He MAY be outstanding but regardless of what the Xaviarian Kool-Aid drinkers believe he has proved nothing yet. For this hire to be considered successful he HAS to beat Trinity twice this year. That's pressure. He may do it but to echo your sentiment a bit I hope the X boys continue to underestimate this group of Rocks.

Don't care if Mom buys it I KNOW that there is a sizable percentage of the X population that was not at all happy with the way the coaching change was made and handled and are ready to pounce if BearDonTomWoodyBo stumbles. Call it what you want but that is the way it is.
