First time caller, long time listener.

This question isn't solely for you but for all that can answer. I may be out of the loop. Is St. X the favorite against Trinity this year?

I'll hang up now and listen to the answer.

Favored- who knows?

I would like to hear from the St. X fan that expects the Tigers to lose to the Rocks this coming season.

Maybe that is unfair- I would like to hear from the St. X fan that would not be disappointed in a loss to the Rocks this year?

Anyone- Bueller, Bueller?

:D

Doesn't have to beat them twice. Only once when it matters.

There will be a ton of people at PJS in October wearing Green and Gold that would disagree with you, I think.

Frankly I could care less who disagrees with me nor could I care if we lose in the regular season. The shillelagh doesn't add to the banner.

You are entitled to your perspective. That does nothing to change my original sentiment, which is that there is no more pressure packed position as a new head coach than the one that expects two wins over Trinity in 2013.

How is Jeff Griffith leading this poll? What pressure does he have?

I'd say the natives are restless in Boone County. That's who I'll go with.

Restless about what? They are 6A correct?

I would have to say Clevenger and Wagner are under the most pressure because those programs expect to win. Wagner , in particular, I believe will be under a ton of pressure. With the creation of Bishop Bossart's program and an improving Campbell County program, NCC is struggling to field a freshman team after winning a state title. If you combine that with a sub par season or two, would NCC draw enough players to even have a program???

Clevenger doesn't have the pressure that some may think. Everyone in this area knows what lies ahead for Danville.

Jeff Griffith at Boone. Boone county needs to be put back on the map. It's been a while since they were a real contented with the rest of NKY. Looking foward to watch him. I'm a big fan of Boone Co.

But that turnaround shouldn't be expected to take place in one season. Especially for a first time head coach.

I can't see anyone having more pressure than Chad Lewis at John Hardin and Dan Wagner at NCC. Those schools and their fans both expect to be in the state finals this year. Will Wolford is closely behind those two IMO. With the culture of NKY I'd give a slight edge in most pressure to Dan Wagner.

If you have to ask those two questions, you probably have some research to do to understand.

I believe this is his second time being a head coach.

I'm not going to do research on a program with unrealistic expectations if Jeff Griffth faces more pressure than the 2-3 coaches listed that have expectations of at least being in the state finals in their respective classes.

Either way, if Jeff Griffith has more pressure than Chad Lewis, Dan Wagner and Will Wolford then I hope he leaves Boone County ASAP because they'll never be happy if that is the case.

What do you think is unrealistic. Boone is a program with a previous coach that was commonly criticized for being too run heavy. Boone County has the athletes, but it seems that most thought they were not put in a position to win because they were a run only offense. Now, a new coach comes into a program where everyone thinks they have the tools to win but needed to be in a balanced offense to be able to succeed. Now, it looks like they are going to be in a balanced offense, with what people already thought was a complete team.

Plus, Northern Kentucky 6A has not been successful over the years, and the fans think they should be because NKY is competitive in all other classes. He's under pressure to win.

You have no clue what goes on at X so give up up !

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.
