Sorry to jump in amidst an Emasnki trivia question, but this is too good to pass up:

What 5 Reds had the most hits (as a Red) between 1990-1999? In order would be bonus points. :thumb:

I know Steady Eddie Taubensee was touted as being part of the Emanski program but are you talking about a player that came up with the Reds?

It was Eddie. Well done.

I am pretty sure about the top three, not quite as sure about the other two. Good question, BTW.

1. Larkin

2. Hal Morris

3. Reggie Sanders

I'll go with:

4. Bret Boone

5. Eddie Taubensee

Impressive, 1-4 are correct....and in perfect order.

Joe Oliver maybe?

I'd say Eric Davis as #5. He actually came back in 196 and had over 100 hits.

Nicely done.

He's the only position player that I remember being a regular for several years in the 90's that wasn't a catcher.

Chris Sabo?

I got to know Sabo a bit a couple years ago. Pretty good dude & still drives a Honda CRV.

Pete Rose discussion got me to thinking about this...

What do these players have uniquely in common?

Musial, Jackson, Winfield, Thomas, Steve Finley, Williams, Lee Lacy, Ba Bonds, Schmidt, L Walker, Pete Rose and M Alou.

What was the answer to this one?

There was a good one on ESPN Radio this morning: There are 3 current MLB teams that have 2 players the have won MVP Awards. Who are they?

Detroit Tigers

LA Angels

NY Yankees

Not the Yankees. At least for the purposes of the question they did not count A-Rod since he is suspended. That's why they listed it as current instead of active.

The Angels with Pujols and Hamilton and the Tigers with Verlander and Cabrera are correct.

Good question:

1. Angels (Pujols & Josh Hamilton...maybe even Trout although I don't think he has an MVP...yet).

2. Tigers (Cabrera & Verlander)

3. Phillies (Rollins & Howard)
