July 22, 201412 yr Good question: 1. Angels (Pujols & Josh Hamilton...maybe even Trout although I don't think he has an MVP...yet). 2. Tigers (Cabrera & Verlander) 3. Phillies (Rollins & Howard) This is correct. Trout hasn't won yet, but it is probably just a matter of time.
July 22, 201412 yr Not the Yankees. At least for the purposes of the question they did not count A-Rod since he is suspended. That's why they listed it as current instead of active. The Angels with Pujols and Hamilton and the Tigers with Verlander and Cabrera are correct. I don't think the Yanks have another MVP on their roster aside from AROD. I'm pretty confident the 3rd team is Philly, but the Rockies are an intriguing choice with Morneau & Tulo. I know Morneau won an MVP in Minnesota, but I don't think Tulo has one.

They didn't count them in this question but if Rodriguez were active they'd have two as well.

I was not thinking of ARod, actually thinking Texiera could have won the award because I knew he had one great season in Texas. I looked it up and that same season ('05), ARod won MVP. Ichiro I remembered. Rollins and Howard I totally forgot.
July 22, 201412 yr There was a good one on ESPN Radio this morning: There are 3 current MLB teams that have 2 players the have won MVP Awards. Who are they? Edit....Saw the answer was already posted.
July 22, 201412 yr Was looking up the Reds stats earlier for another thread and noticed that Cincinnati actually has a player who has walked more times than they've struck out this season. Can you name him?

July 24, 201412 yr Who threw a no-hitter against the Reds in a game at Riverfront and also homered twice in that game? (part 2) Who did the pitcher retire for the final out to complete his no hitter? (part 3) Who was the pitcher's battery mate for that game? Edited July 24, 201412 yr by Science Friction
