May 18, 201313 yr I thought about it last night as I drove past the gas station but I hear all the horror stories of people that win the lottery then everything goes to hell (Divorce, drugs, everyone asking for money, etc..) . Money does crazy things to people. So I passed, I'm pretty happy with my life how it is. Plus I have a better chance of getting hit by lightening 10 times than winning. It's the odds that stopped me. Obviously you can't win if you don't play, but you know that you're never going to win. I think I'd get more enjoyment from lighting $2 on fire and dancing around the flames!

Obviously someone wins and in sure the people that have won in the past were told that they shouldn't play because they wouldn't win. Doesn't make sense to say that even if you buy a ticket you aren't king to win because that isn't true. You could win different amounts of money just for matching so many numbers.

I'm quite confident you know what I mean. Specifically, the jackpot. Yes, you can win SOME money but odds are you'll never even be tangentially connected to someone that wins the jackpot.

May 19, 201313 yr Have no clue what I will do other than meet with three lawyers separately, 3 financial advisors separately and three tax experts separately, then choose the one from each that provides me the best way to use the money to take care of my family for generations, provide charitable funds for the causes my wife and I believe in and try and buy a Sports minor league franchise in baseball or hockey to give me somethingg fun to do. After the selection and meeting with the team of three, cash the ticket, use the advice, and have a blast.
May 19, 201313 yr I would eventually give over 50% away in donations, with it this big of a jackpot I'm guessing around 65% or more. I would put about 150 million or more in a fund and just give away the interest each year, which ill have a little committee who will sort through the letters from people wanting donations or needing the money, so I won't have to feel bad about who is and who is not getting the money. It would be set up to still give the interest out every year even after I pass away. Pay for college of family members, start a couple of shelters in Moscow and Bucharest( two places I travel to a lot), a couple of apartment buildings and have people I know that need it live there and just pay taxes and their utilities as long as they all help in the upkeep of the property. A couple of new cars and travel for myself. Have the best dang AAU team around. Start a private school and team that will have all Euro players/students. Maybe PP will be my coach? Lol. Buy BGP and shut it down, lol. JK.
