May 17, 201313 yr So very sorry for the Bradford family's loss. Thank you for your service Michael and for giving the ultimate sacrifice to keep us safe. Breaks my heart to hear he was about to become a father. Sending prayers to the family and especially that little boy who will never meet his hero. He now has a guardian angel to guide him in life.
May 17, 201313 yr Author I just learned that, although Michael was actually out of the military, he was working for a civilian contractor aiding the effort in Afghanistan. Of course, this in no way lessens the tragedy of his death or the value of his sacrifice.
