April 16, 201313 yr Outside of Dusty's decision...I think its getting overlooked that Arroyo pitched one heck of a game. If you told me going into the game that he goes 8, doesn't walk anyone, and gives up just 5 hits and only 2 runs...I'd have have been ecstatic. If he had given up a 2 run jack to Howard in the first, and then mowed 'em down the rest of the way, the Dusty decision wouldn't be detracting from his effort. In fact, I'll take that from him each and every start. Now it's Bailey's turn to step it up.
April 16, 201313 yr Talking with a buddy of mine yesterday, we had a general consensus that Sunday was ugly and they needed two things really bad. 1. Home Cookin' at GABP 2. 8 solid innings from Arroyo. They got em. We kinda hit the nail on the head. Just needed to include "big game from BP" and we would've had all three. It's great that BP is continuing to make opposing pitchers pay for walking Joey... On another note, I had someone at the game arguing with me yesterday that Utley is better than Phillips... Who ya got?
