Why wouldn't you use him in the 10th if your team doesn't win it in the 9th?

If that's the case, then you could use him. But going to the 10th isn't guaranteed. Going to the bottom of the 9th is. And in that half of the inning, you have your 2, 3 and 4 hitters up. Theoretically that is your best chance to win the game so why not do everything you can (by using Chapman) to ensure those hitters aren't trying to come back but merely win it.

The game. I don't know, maybe we don't watch a game in the same manner.

And that's a huge part of the game. Discussing the moves made by the manager.

I don't need just an update on the game. I can still see well enough to know what's going on from watching the TV.

And if you go to the 10th you have 3 very tough outs to get.

I don't have an issue with using your closer in a tie game top 9. Last night however I wasn't thrilled with the decision to not bring in a lefty (Chapman) to face Utley.

Broxton may not be available tonight though.

Why wouldn't Broxton be available tonight?

In short, no manager would be sufficient. You said it yourself, every manager is second guessed 100x a year. Half of those decisions are going to be wrong. Heck, if it's based on hitting someone 70% of them will be wrong. If that's how you want to watch a game and be a fan, so be it. Just not my thing.

I wouldn't recommend waiting this out. Radar looks very bad.

I live close to the ballpark and there is some serious lightning every 30 seconds or so.

I have no issue with it either. Just saying I probably would have gone a different route tonight.

Around 40 pitches on Sunday.

I think you just take it too personally.

Probably so

31...I would think he's available but not the 1st option.

In all honesty I was thinking that his blow up game was Saturday.

I'm headed to the game Friday. Hoping for decent weather but I'm afraid it's going to be ugly.

FSO update - - MMA show is over. Creepy guys playing cards is about to start.

They're cleaning the dugouts… I believe they're going to suspend this game…
