If I'm counting correctly, UK will have 8 McD's All Americans on the roster next year, with the potential for a 9th? Wow. And that doesn't include WCS.

Hey Goodwin, take a pointer from this, just because you we're a ball hog and shot most every shot, it don't mean you are ready for the NBA, they have better players in the NBA than Robert Morris

^Think we found out who one of the "UK fans" that was bashing Archie on Twitter was.

AG will be in the D league before 1st week of season is over.

So was Terrence Jones, Doron Lamb, Darius Miller, and I think Patrick Patterson was sent his rookie year as well.

Be nice now--He might be back in blue, and add to the depth at guard??

I don't know. I think you'd be an awesome follow.

Could Alex develop much like Terrance Jones did? Jones had no show games as a freshman but was a different player as a soph and really played well down the stretch to the title.

I hope he comes back, be best thing for him and great coming off the bench.

I agree. I follow only celebrities or pundit types but I would break that rule for mountain ref.

All I can say is OMG what a frontcourt next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was anyone else surprised at Poythress' stats? Second on the team in scoring and rebounding, 11 PPG and 6.5 RPG. Also was named to the SEC All Freshman team. That is a darn good freshman season. It sure never felt like he was having that good a season. Maybe part of the problem is our expectations for these freshmen?

He started out on a tear. Scored 20+ in like 4 or 5 straight and may have hit that number once the rest of the year. But yes, he had a typical freshman season. But Cal's freshman are expected to perform at a higher level, especially when you can see his physical attributes.
