He knows he would have been drafted. But it takes a lot humility to realize he was not mentally ready. I give him mad props for being honest with himself. A lot of us are too prideful to admit what Alex had to admit. :thumb: Especially with Archie leaving. I'm glad he realized he wasn't ready and needed to come back and work on his game. If only he can learn to play aggressive like he did in this game every single time he steps on the floor.

April 3, 201313 yr It's weird how this years team got worse as the season progressed instead of getting better. I think a better way of putting it is that they never progressed from the onset. I can't say they got worse, but once teams figured out how to play them they were never able to properly adjust. Nerlens had them going in the right direction and we know how that ended. We are pretty much saying the same thing though.

April 5, 201313 yr Jones was a lot more skilled coming in. Both have NBA bodies and athleticism, but T. Jones also had some game to back it up. Not saying Alex can't do anything, I just think Jones had a lot more to work with talent wise. Jones also showed some character. While some might have got upset about him screaming and flexing his muscles after a big dunk, I loved it because it showed he had some passion. I want to see more character/passion out of Poythress this season. Have some fun kid!
