I only have Fairdale with two returning starters (Thomas and Longacre). Lack of depth killed them this year, and will be a problem next year as well unless someone really blossoms. Thomas is really good and Longacre is a solid son of a coach. Not sure if they will have replacements for Crabtree, Payne, and Lowry. If they do, look out!

Way to early for predictions in this new era of player movement.

Check back 9/1 when the rosters begin to take shape.

Agree, but it does give us something to discuss in this off season.

8th- Simon/Grant

9th-Holmes/NCC/Dixie

10th- Campbell

Grant is overdue, twice in 55 years, every squirrel finds a nut every 30 years or so.

You're right. Lowry was the one I forgot. But as dawgs said in an earlier post, the Mason kid should be a factor for them as well. My guess is that Fairdale will be in the top 3 of the 6th next year.

With all the recent transfers within this region, Cordia has made their way to the top of the 14th. However, PCC has brought in some recent players from the Philadelphia area. Rumors have it as Damon Tobler being one of three that has enrolled at PCC. The 14th keeps us basketball fans entertained during the off-season.

Give me Cordia this year. Different type of squad.

Not being mean but Grant has no shot without Carr.

5th John Hardin

6th PRP, but don't count out Doss. There is a rumor about a transfer coming in at Doss that could really help them.

7th Ballard, but Trinity could do it if Spalding finally starts playing

8th Collins

It would be shocking if Ballard doesn't repeat in the 7th Region, even though Male, St. Xavier, and Trinity will be very strong. Ballard will be preseason #1 and Quinten Snider and Kelan Martin are dominating players, supported by great younger talent in Jalen Perry and Malik Dow. A word of caution for the future, watch out for Waggener (yes, I said Waggener). They have the best talent in their rising freshmen and sophomore classes in the Louisville area, and will be extremely hard to deal with beginning this year.

PRP should win the 6th with lots of experience, size, and athleticism returning. Even though 5'10 Antonio McDaniels and 6'7 Lamontray Harris are the only returning starters from the Sweet 16 team, 6'7 D'Angelo Hunter, 6'3 John Oyler, and 5'10 Bryce Byrd started several games throughout the year and each scored at least 18 points in several games. Juniors Khalid Raheem and Richard Gaines will make PRP the fastest and most athletic team in the region. Doss, Iroquois, and DeSales all return a ton of talented players, but they are in the same district, along with Butler and Western, and making it out of the district is a crap shoot. Fairdale and Bullitt East lost so much talent, but they will be capable of being dangerous to anyone who plays them. Moore returns several players, led by premier PG Jaelin Sanford, and they beat PRP at PRP in the final game of the regular season. My order of rankings are: 1 -- PRP; 2 -- Doss; 3 -- Moore; 4 -- Bullitt East; 5 -- Iroquois; 6 -- Fairdale; 7 -- DeSales; 8 -- Butler.

You missing something in your ranking. Jtown only has to replace the 20 point the Moe Hendricks brought to the table and near end of last season others has stepped up. IF coaching gets better, Jtown will battle any team or any given night. Too much is given to Bullitt East and Moore as I think Iroquois will be the 3rd team, Jtown 4th, then Butler. Moore has too many questions (new coaching, how will Jalen respond to his injury). Bullitt East has few guys with Varsity experience, they lost a ton.

Harrison Co. will be much improved from last year and will be in the mix in the 10th region.

Who is running the point for the Breds this year?

DJ Jenkins. Jr, After growth spurt is about 6'2", has really improved his skills and strength.
