So they're saying that Duke was the #8 two seed? Reeeeally.

If Duke is a two seed, seems a lock the other three ones will be Kansas, Indiana, and Gonzaga.

They only seed the #1's by rank. The other seeds are placed by geography as much as where they rank among their equal # seeds.

Ohio St. or New Mexico will be a #3 seed if the Zags. I would have thought they would have both been #2 seeds

Gonzaga as #1, Ohio State as #2, New Mexico as #3 IMO.

Kansas State, Wisconsin, Arizona, Pitt, Notre Dame are all teams that will be in the West.

Is that right? They change so often I can't remember.

0 sense in the seeding.

Shouldn't the overall #1 have the easiest/best path?

Miami not a #1 but Indiana is?

Then it is not an overall #1.......

There it is, Boise State and LaSalle. It's over.

Read closely ... they do rank the #1 seeds. They don't rank the other seeds.

So Ole Miss definitely bumped someone off the bubble. Did they maybe steal Tennessee's bid?

I still don't understand how California is in as an at-large at a lower seed than one of the play-in games.

Oregon was a 12 and Ole Miss was a 12, two conference champions that stole at-large bids. If both of those broke the other way, then maybe Kentucky might have snuck in.

0 sense in the seeding.

They say the #1 overall and the easiest path is not true. It's most geographical.

They can rank them all they want, but if the overall #1 doesn't get the #4 of all the other seeds, then it isn't really a ranking at all.

At least it's St. Patrick's Day, and many fans will not feel the pain as strongly as they might.

Does Southern Miss have the biggest "not getting in" gripe?
