I'm actually shocked that some believe

- Mays was selfish and didn't want to pass to Archie

- Mays didn't trust Archie to make a layup.

There was like 3-4 seconds left and usually when you catch it you take a couple of dribbles and shoot. Mays didn't want to not get a shot off and thus shot way early. It happens all the time and I can't believe some are saying the negative stuff about it. Listen to his post game interview and you'll know he just didn't know how much time was left.

I haven't seen Mays make a selfish play all season. It's amazing the stuff people come up with.

That's the craziest thing I had read on here lately. No way Mays was being selfish there. No one is that selfish :thumb:.

You think he did pass to him because he didn't trust him as opposed to just not being aware of how much time was left?

I gotta be honest it's pretty ridiculous people think he passed up a game winning layup to shoot a running half court shot. I don't think anyone is that selfish. He obviously didn't think he had enough time.

It definitely was not a selfish thing at all, it was rather easy to tell he just kind of started to panic with time running down and didn't realize he had time to pass it. I mean if he knew he had more time, he would have at least drove it a little closer if he wanted to shoot it himself. However you can tell he just basically lost track of the time.

Great game, and loved the effort they played with. I really enjoyed watching this team, and the effort they had and how they played together.

So he took a running half court shot..... Makes perfect sense to me...

I was sitting in traffic behind the stadium and saw Harrow run across the street and down towards downtown still in his uni and a sweat shirt with both knees iced up. As soon as he was past me I was thinking duh I'm on my phone why didn't I snap a photo of that. Honestly I was just glad to know that I wasn't the only person that felt they needed to ice their knees after a game and he's in way better shape than me.

As someone in the stands watching the game on the floor and NOT at home with a clock on the lower portion of the TV I can tell you that whole sequence had me holding my breathe and hoping he'd get the shot off.

:thumb::thumb: Great post. I agree 100%. Mays is a total team player and is jmo that he has emerged as the leader of this team.

It's Archie Goodwin, he may have traveled or fell trying to do a 720 to get on SC top plays.
