So you stop play after the Holmes miss? You do realize that CovCath threw the ball almost the entire length of the court for somewhat of an easy basket.

 

Why not stop it after the CovCath miss or have the Holmes player just stop? Why do you feel the stripe should have stopped it after the Holmes miss, if you were so worried about the Holmes player?

In all actuality, they should have blown it one the first initial miss by CCH. Palmer rebounded and took off on a one on two. Blow it dead once Holmes has possession. They didn't, Palmer forces a shot versus two defenders and the ball bounds toward the kid laying on the floor. Once CovCath secured possession, blow it dead, they still had to go the length of the court via pass, dribble or roll.

Heard Bolden being in foul trouble first half really hurt Holmes as they killed Covcath on the boards but couldn't get in a rhythm offensively. Hopefully we see a rematch between these two.

 

I have a feeling Holmes gets matched up with Cooper in the first round...hoping for Dixie, though. I agree with the people who said Newcath is the worse match up they could get. I think this loss will really put a chip on the Dogs shoulder. This group HATES to lose.

You were misinformed. Bolden did not have foul trouble.

I don't think Holmes lacked intensity but played a bit sloppy and had three or four careless turnovers and kind of dug themselves a hole.

CovCath shot the ball really well out of the gate. If I recall correctly, Bolden hit some shots to keep Holmes around in the first half. In the second half they forced less and took what the defense gave them. Against NCC, Bolden just went out of his mind.

If schools want to make some money off of the district, that is how they should do it. If they want to get as many fans in to see the games, that is how they should do it.

Holmes had a one on two, not really an advantage if you ask me.

You still should stop play if you are concerned about player safety.

Sorry I missed this one. I am in LA and followed BGP on my phone during mtg. Congrats to the Colonels. Anyway you slice it tough road for the 'dogs. Not impossible, though. I did see the Lakers/Blazers tonight. Meeks had 10 I think.

Priceless is right. The lead up to the shot is well worth a listen with the odds stacked unbelievably high against the Colonels. The actual shot and reaction is at 1:38:50 in the broadcast. I was at the game, but just had to go back and listen knowing full good and well the results. OMG little did I know my reaction listening would be filled with such overjoyed frenzy and a flow of tears. Your call of the shot was amazing and one for the ages. WOW!!!... a classic!!! If I ever need a 'pick me up' I sure know what'll do it for me! Great job guys!!!....amazing!!! .... WOW!!!

It appears that an older gentleman doning a Blue hat is seen apparently unloading his make believe revolvers as he is either shooting someone down in the stands or pointing at them, either way he is pumped up,
