Most. 45-30 with about 5 minutes left in the 3rd. Went on a 7-0 run to get back in it in a quick run.

yes, CovCath's largest advantage......45-30 with 6:50 left in the 3rd. Holmes then goes on a 7-0 run, but Covcath responds and went on a 5-0 run.

NCC had a lead of about 16 points.

 

In those two they didn't get an points ouf the 4 or 5 without them getting stickbacks. Needs the 2 and 3 to hit outside shots. Didn't happen much in the first half tonight. I think the 3 guards shot 4/15 in the first half with only one 3.

If a player is down and hurt an official is supposed to run over to them and stay next to them and then, after a team has finished its attack on their basket air should be put into the whistle and time called. There is no way in hell that there should have been 3 possessions with a player down. I was not at the game, so I don't even know which team had a guy down, but this is exactly what should have happened.

If this game is played at The Finn, well over half would have been turned away and missed one hell of a game. HC made a killing just tonight on the gate.

I would venture to say that Holy Cross had two good nights at the gate, with the first round games and tonight.

From what I understand, they absorbed zero out of pocket costs to host at Holmes. They got the gate. Holmes possessed the concessions and security and cleanup.

I can't speak to tonight because I wasn't at this game, but in the New Cath game Holmes played harder in the 4th quarter than they played the first 3 combined. That is what I was asking in post #81 ... did Holmes play with the same intensity in the first three quarters that they did in the 4th?

I don't think intensity was an issue in any of the first 3 quarters tonight.
