True, but now Holmes is comin off a devastating loss, and it took 2OT to beat the dogs the first time. This is the one team NCC probably doesn't want to face in the first round.

I know someone has a video of the final few seconds for us all to see........

NCC's worst nightmare just happened, Holmes a district runner up. I see the regional draw gods having NCC/Holmes as the 1st game of the region setting the stage for a great tournament.

 

I think Holmes don't want to draw NewCath or Cooper. The nightmare would be for Holmes.

Congrats to the Colonels for finally getting the monkey of their back. Too bad I could not make it as it sounds like it was a whale of a game. I would love to see a repeat of this in the Regional Finals!

I'd take going into the region with a win over a loss any day. Sure NCC would probably rather draw a team other than Holmes but wouldn't Holmes rather draw a team other than NCC as well? I don't buy the NCC nightmare. It should be Holmes' nightmare. I believe NCC's only loss in the 9th region is to CovCath anyway so maybe they'd rather draw Holmes than CovCath.

Special recognition to Sawyer Pauly for giving Bolden some trouble tonight in CovCath's box-and-1.

 

Bolden did make some spectacular plays down the stretch to bring Holmes back, and ultimately, get them a lead.

 

Fredrick's three with under :40 left to tie it at 70 was HUGE.

Which is why winning tonight was so important.

 

Congrats to Covcath on the win. Disappointed I missed this one. Tough break from Holmes. They are 2 OT's and a halfcourt shot from being undefeated heading in to the region tourney.
