halfback20
The good news is that linebacker Ray Lewis may not be facing many questions about a 13-year-old controversy during media day. The bad news is that there’s a fresh topic into which the assembled reporters will want to delve when Lewis and the Ravens gather at the Superdome for the annual exercise in journalistic hysteria. According to Sports Illustrated, Lewis contacted a company owned by a former male stripper to obtain a deer-antler velvet extract after tearing his triceps in October. Ray Lewis may have used banned substance to recover from torn triceps | ProFootballTalk

theguru
I thought a lot of NFL players used a form of that supplement? On a side but related topic, look at Ray Lewis' arms when they show clips of his first year in the league vs. the last five years. Huge difference! nkypete
I must be gullible. So, how does a customer like Lewis seek out and connect with a company that sells a product like that??? It is not like it is on the shelf at the local CVS. Here comes the denial.

barrel
Complete side note but I thought the dance came from a homeless guy or something from Lewis's hometown. I thought I heard him say that at some point. I also thought the guy was on drugs or something.

I was thinking Luke or his dancers used to do the dance and Ray Ray incorporated it into his act.
theguru
There was a time this supplement was not on the banned listed and I specifically remember Roy Williams (Dallas, Cincy) promoting it.
