Ray Lewis may have used banned substance?

Featured Replies

I thought a lot of NFL players used a form of that supplement?

On a side but related topic, look at Ray Lewis' arms when they show clips of his first year in the league vs. the last five years. Huge difference!

Should be expect him to not get bigger after being in an NFL strength program for 16 years?

Of course but you know what I mean.

He looks like a set of arms that sprouted a body.

I must be gullible. So, how does a customer like Lewis seek out and connect with a company that sells a product like that??? It is not like it is on the shelf at the local CVS. Here comes the denial.

Deer Antler Spray | Deer Antler Velvet | IGF-1 | Nutronics Labs

It is well known by anyone that is serious about lifting. It is not illegal, but banned by some governing bodies....because it works as good as or better than steroids with less risk for a large amount of people.

Does this surprise anyone? not me.

Of course but you know what I mean.

Now guru, his arms got that big because of lifting weights......same way Barry Bonds head got big, he lifted weights with his forehead

For anyone who doesn't think Ray Lewis is guilty I have one question. Why would a company out of the blue say Ray Lewis asked for and was given the drug? They have nothing to gain from it and they would instantly be sued by the player if it didn't happen.

Because right now there is someone using Google to find deer velvet and buying it.

Ray Lewis going with the Lance Armstrong defense ... never failed a test, this is ridiculous, etc.

I thought he got it from the club scene at Miami. I was thinking Luke or his dancers used to do the dance and Ray Ray incorporated it into his act.

"It started one time, they got ready to introduce the defense, and they were going to introduce us together," Lewis, who is retiring after this season, said during the post-game press conference. "This guy in my hometown, Kirby Lee, would always do this dance, and the dance was called the 'squirrel', and I told him I was gonna do that dance one day, and he was like, 'You're not gonna do it,' and I was like, 'I'm gonna do it.

Right, because your arms won't get bigger by just lifting weights for 16 years. It's just insane to think an athlete will get bigger by just working out.

So where do I find these banned substances? I'm a little past my prime and want to get the good stuff back. Deer antler velvet extract...I'm in.

A friend of mine uses (and promotes) the spray. I think he bought it online.

There have been several articles about it. Interesting stuff.

I am not saying that at all, there is no doubt in my mind Ray busted his tail to improve but the difference is so dramatic I would not be surprised at all if he had "help."

I know variations of this product are used by some people at my gym and the consensus is it probably works to a small degree.

I wouldn't be surprised of any NFL player using. I'm just not going to assume it because they are bigger after being in the league for 16 years. FWIW, the oldest pic I could find of Lewis was 2001 super bowl pics and the size of his arm didn't really look that much different.
