I polled some female co-workers. A lot of them do not know who Manti is. The ones that do DEFINITELY care about this. Everyone knew who Lance was, but only a few knew he was going to confess. None cared.

 

I don't care about Lance confessing because I believe most of the athletes in his sport were doing the same thing. He was just better at cheating and better at not getting caught (until now, obviously).

I agree with that, and for me it is a much bigger story. I'm thinking of my wife as a non-sports fan and the women like her who know who Lance is from being all over for all of his "good" charitable work and being a good cyclist or something. Know what I mean?

Not sure if he was outed. On Navratilova, I was referencing male athletes (insert joke here), but I'd say she's probably the most well-known to go public with homosexuality.
