Tommy Tuberville angers recruits, families and powerful Ohio HS

Tuberville must be French for classy.

Wow. This seems pretty heavy.

Anyone think/believe that this could really help UK with top Ohio recruits?

It definitely won't hurt them and there is definitely new opportunity. Especially with this new staff at UK.

Hearing might be an uphill climb with DL Jarran Reed after his official to #UF. Not over yet, though.

Hey this happens alot in football especially with coaching turn over. But to me, WHO is this High School coach think he is, keeping his student athletes from prospective programs>??? He does not own them, I think he should have kept his mouth shut. What you do is tell your kids how he treated you before and let them decide.

Good point.

Um. No...

High school coaches being mad at college coaches is hardly new. This example just came about as a result of USC telling a kid who was set to enroll early that his spring scholarship was not available. OF course they told him this three days before the semester started. He is now back on the market.

His coach:

Kurt Bruich ‏@CoachBruich

When people are desperate, their true colors show. Take the USC coach, captain of an underachieving ship. His true color: SHADY!

It is shady, College football is shady, and despite what anyone tells you these coaches dont climp the ladder by being all on the up and up, very few do if any. When you go to college your a number, a chess peice. They may like you but end of the day that is the truth.

Now you know why Coach Taggart reached out to the local high school coaches day 1, here. He made sure he had as many of them at his introductory new conference as he could get.

Like it or not, high school coaches can exert great influence on their players and many do.

This is my train of thought.

Sad to see this happen but it does almost seem the norm now days.
