I will yell with you. The BCS should be embarrassed by this. When Marshall was undefeated with Randy Moss they were better than this Notre Dame team.

 

When ND joins a real conference and wins it then they can come back to the party. Really, Alabama looks like they are playing against a mid major.

ND is a top 10 team, are they playing like it, no. Florida is a top 10 team but didn't play like it. Sometimes the big stage shocks those who haven't been there and done that. Ala has done both.

It has now been 103:41 in game time since Alabama has given up a point in a BCS Title Game. Goes back to Texas's last score in 2010

In fairness, this is not the same ND, just like it wasn't the same Oregon 2 years ago. I believe if this is played Dec 22 or Dec 15 Alabama wins by 17. Something to be said for momentum. Look at the last 3 Super Bowl champs.

Maybe, but the layoff is another thing that make college football a joke when it comes to post season play. In my opinion, ND loses in the quarterfinals of a legitimate playoff. They WOULD have been much more competitive in this game if they would not have had the layoff. Playing a Championship game 30 games after your last game is stupid...and I have been saying that for years.

I miss when all good games were on New Years Day and you had to get 4 TVs out so you wouldn't miss any games.

They did something that 118 other teams did not do, beat every single team on their schedule. I think that deserves a top 10 ranking when you take into account their schedule, which wouldn't blow you away but is no slouch either.
