January 5, 201313 yr Pretty neat that the guy presenting the award to Quick has a grandson attending Trinity. That guy is Pete Dawkins who won the Heisman Trophy in 1958 (I think) at Army. I believe he is a retired US Army general.

January 5, 201313 yr James said he was headed to OSU until the Sugar Bowl victory. Kids want to play for winning programs on the rise it helps when one springs up in your home town.
January 5, 201313 yr James said he was headed to OSU until the Sugar Bowl victory. One game should never effect a 3-4 year decision. Emotional decisions always scare me. Bottom line is his parents wanted him home. He is where he belongs and he will get immediate playing time at UL. Hopefully, after 3 years he moves on to the league.

January 5, 201313 yr I was watching and could not figured out how you knew before it was announced. I than found out the DVR was not on live tv. Don't feel bad... This happened to me for the UK-UNC basketball game last season. With 5 minutes left in the game, my roommates and I realized we were 30 minutes behind Live TV.
