On vacation. Not on the focused routine this week. Running or walking everyday. Definitely in better shape now than a year ago. All the summer clothes are looser.

Going to the Gorge, so I'll be able to work out w/ weights only 2 xs this week. Hiking 3 days though, so it will be different.

In Destin this week. Ran 3 miles on Monday. Cool and rainy today.

Also in Destin! Love being outside and walking everywhere.

I felt as though I was plateauing so I got a note book and I'm going to start recording my #'s every day I'm in there. Wanting to drop another 10 lbs by the end of May. Hopefully eating better will help with this, Carrot snack packs are my new favorite snack.

Weather has been awesome until today. Made the mistake of trying to go to the outlet mall. Absolute mad house. Upside is I got some new running shoes.

CrossFit Open WOD 13.5

4 min AMRAP

15 Thrusters 100lb

15 Chest to Bar Pull Ups

If you complete 90 reps (3 rounds) before the 4 mins is up the time cap becomes 8 mins.

If you complete 180reps (3 more rounds) before the 8 mins is up the time cap becomes 12 mins.

This continues as long as you complete 3 rounds before time is up. For those that have heard of or done the crossfit work out called Fran, this is Fran on crack.

This past weeks Running...

Congrats! I heard it was a tough one.

Tomorrow will be my cardio and core day after doing weights then cardio the past few days. I've got 8.5 miles in and need to get another 6.5 by sunday night, trying to make sure I get in atleast 15 every week. Also I started writing down my work outs, the plan is to do them in reverse order from week to week and every 3 weeks switch between barbell and dumb bell lifts. Trying to keep things changing.

Congrats! I heard it was a tough one.

IMO the course was harder than the Flying Pig. I think I've heard it had 23 hills. This will help me on my next half at the Derby later this month. I really want that sub 2 hour half and Louisville is the course to do it on. Just need nice weather!

I PR'd the Derby Half by almost 20 minutes. Insanely fast course.
