Open WOD 13.3 was released last night. It is a repeat of 12.4 from last year.

12min AMRAP

150 Wall Balls

90 Double Unders

30 Muscle Ups

I didn't do the open last year but my gym did this work out last summer. I barely got through the wall balls. I would really like to at least get through the DU's this go around. However I'm still down and out with my sinus infection so not sure when I will attempt this one.

Did this tonight. First workout I've done since last Saturday and I could feel it. That combined with not being 100% yet from my sinus infection and it made for a rough go of it. Ended up getting 194, pretty disappointed. I had hoped to at least get through the double unders.

Do it again.

By the way, the herd has really thinned out in here.

Still here!!!

Changing up the routine. Got to the workout first thing this morning. Feel great!

Also anxiously awaiting the arrival of Insanity! Will take that on Spring Break as it does not require weights. My 3 teens are kind if intrigued that I got it, so maybe some workout bonding ahead?

This means nothing to all of you expert fitness peeps. But on Jan. 10, I started doing push-ups on the knees. Today I can do at least 40 plank style. That's a nice win for me! :dancingpa

Good luck. Insanity is brutal.

Do it again.

I really thought about it but didn't feel any better yesterday so wouldn't have done much good. Plus my quads are still screaming from the wall balls.

Fit test done. Moves are not easy, but I was able to do much more than I thought.

For me, the key will be pushing harder every day, continuous improvement, and don't give up!

Actually it will be about recovery. Dial in on pre and post workout nutrition, stretch, and get sleep. It will be hard for your body to bounce back for 6 workouts a week. Don't be afraid to cut it to 4 or 5 per week and stretch it out more than 8 weeks.

Just got home from basketball. We were short a guy short so I played a little more than expected, but felt good after a long weekend.

I bought myself one of those calorie counter thing-a-ma-jigs so I would stop cheating on the diet, I'm excited to see how it helps.

I went grocery shopping and threw away all the junk (food) we had lying around the house. It was bittersweet day. :thumb:
