Seriously?! How many of you have ever been pulled over for throwing a cigarette out of your car?

 

 

Don't know the laws but I would hope you would need probable cause to perform a body search. Would love to know his probable cause.

sounds he like he thought they had marijuana on them - if you listen he said the car smelled of Pot

Wow. I would be beyond mad too.

 

I like how the cop tried to correct the situation by just giving them warnings.

"It was because someone's a daily smoker in that car. Okay? You can attribute it to that."

 

So...they can attribute all that to the fact that someone smokes daily in the car they were driving? Wow. I think the cop needs to go back to the police academy and learn what pot smells like.

Never, but I wish they would pull smokers over when they are littering. That drives me crazy.

As for the search, can't imagine it was that random. I can't believe they went to that extreme if it didn't smell like pot. When the cop referenced daily smoker, my guess has was saying daily weed smoker?

Still shocked they would do that type of search on a public highway.

Well he didn't find any, then said something like "oh it must be because your boyfreind is an everyday smoker."

I've had my car searched before because the officer smelled a "hint of pot"

 

I have never touched the stuff so I laughed and told him good luck...

Wow! I don't know the law, but that seemed very wrong.

I knew after reading this and before opening the link that this lady who got searched wasn't going to be overweight.

 

BTW when the search started I could have sworn I saw something similar on Showtime.
