Talk on street is hoping by mid January. Rumor has it there are 31 applicants to date

 

I find this hard to believe. Anyone know if they have anywhere close to that many applicants?

Search committe will begin reviewing applications after the first of the year, and a coach selected announced (hopefully) by mid-January.

Per the KHSAA web site Brossart has 200.5 boys (avg 2 yrs grades 9 thru 12) and NCC has 213.5 boys.

Not sure what numbers you used but I saw the 2011-2012 numbers at 164 boys (BB) vs. 214 (NCC)?? Think its been a while since BB had 200 boys?

It is my opinion in which I am entitled to. Toughen up a little. Just stating the perception of an outsider looking in. All I can say is be patient. The good news is, with NCC changing coaches too, some kids may consider staying in Alexandria instead of going to Newport...

Really I did not even know Brossart had a football program?

Now, now...

Not ture at all, having lived it for 5yrs. Brossart football fans have been very tolerant over the years with their FB coaching staffs (too tolerant to me personaly). The past coach had other flaws beyond win and losses that finale lead to his dismissal.

 

So what about the others before him? Please tell me how many coaches they have had and how many years they've had football? Anyone??

Very good question. Would it not make sense that if the number of candidates is that high of a number for a program that has very little success, that if bosting on the number of candidates some names would be shared?

 

Is this an issue of quanity over quality??

 

I could see if it were a coach under contract at another school names would not be released, but I would assume that most coaches still under contract would be very careful before applying for this position.

One must know ALL of the rules before assuming a kid from out of the district can't attend once a school board closes "out of district" student/athletes...Just sayin, get your facts straight and quit makin a burr out of yourself.

website clearly says they are not taking any out of district high school students for coming year.........just because you go to St Joe's doesn't mean you don't live in Ft Thomas school district...........look at no tuition StTherese, enrollment from all over the county, like a drive by education, have you seen the drop off line in the morning?
